About us
The UP legal aid office for accident victims and patients has existed as a charitable association since 1994. UP and its consultancy services are largely financed by the member contributions of the associated lawyers.
Private donations and receipts from the consultations only make a small contribution to covering our costs. Currently, about 70 lawyers from the regions of Aargau, Basel, Bern, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zurich offer consultations through UP. They specialise in social insurance and liability law and exclusively represent victims and insured persons against liable parties and their insurers.
We support the objectives of Versicherte Schweiz and recommend membership.
